1. a woman who flirts.

2. a crested Central and South American hummingbird, typically with green plumage, a reddish crest, and elongated cheek feathers.

As you can probably guess, we're talking about the first one. A flirtatious woman, wrapped up in an elegant French word.

Because that's how we think a woman should feel after having her makeup done. Not more beautiful - she's beautiful already. Not more confident - because that comes from inside, not outside. But flirty, sexy, adventurous, sassy. Giving her that little extra oomph in her step. The unmissable glow in her face. That's what it's all about.

WHAT WE DO

Coquette offers a range of makeup artistry services that includes wedding/bridal, special event, makeup lessons and personal shopping consultations. We create looks that embrace the latest trends such as glowing or "dewey" skin, smokey eyes, contour and highlighting, baking or matte finishes, color correction, ombré lips, and brow shaping.

Our service is based in New York City, but can travel to some surrounding areas of NJ and NY.

Crystal brings a passion to the work of makeup design. From the latest trends ("baking", anyone?) to helping women master the basics, she cares about what matters to her clients. She celebrates how makeup can simply enhance natural features or completely transform someone's look.

Crystal's background in marketing and advertising has allowed her to develop a keen eye for beauty in design and applications of color, while her experience in modeling has trained her first-hand in the best techniques for camera.

She also ensures that each client is consulted on her skin, her routine and her preferences in advance for the best results at her appointment.
